I was out together with almost experimenting amongst my novel photographic idiot box camera (a Panasonic Lumix G2).
The high tide had gone downward only St. Mark's Square was yet generally flooded - I cutting across the dry out 'causeway' inward the middle of the foursquare only access to the duckboards was blocked past times a metre of shallow water... it took approximately patience together with ingenuity to cross the gap dry-footed. Tourists were paddling bare-footed.
